3. Each row, column, and 3×3 box must contain every number exactly once.
4. A wrong number costs one of your 3 chances.
5. Fill the whole grid correctly to solve the puzzle.

What happens if I enter a wrong number?

Each wrong entry uses one of your 3 chances. Use all 3 and the puzzle ends, but you can restart the same board or switch difficulty straight away.

Is there a time limit?

No. A timer counts up so you can track how long a board takes, and you can pause it whenever you like — there's never a countdown.

Will I lose my progress if I refresh the page?

No. Your board and mistake count are kept for the current browser tab, so a refresh picks up where you left off.
