How to play Hexa Merge
- The board is a hexagon of 19 cells, starting with two numbered tiles.
- Swipe or drag in any of six directions (or use Q, E, A, D, Z and C) to slide every tile that way.
- When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile of double the value and you score that value.
- After each move a new 2 (or sometimes a 4) appears in an empty cell.
- The game ends when the board is full and no two neighbouring tiles match.
Hexa Merge FAQ
- How do tiles merge in Hexa Merge?
- Two tiles with the same number that slide into each other merge into one tile worth double — two 4s make an 8. A tile can only merge once per move.
- How is Hexa Merge different from 2048?
- The rules are similar, but the board is hexagonal, so tiles slide along three axes in six directions instead of four. That gives you more options on every move.
- When does a game of Hexa Merge end?
- When every cell is filled and no two neighbouring tiles share a number, so no move can change the board. Your best score is saved in your browser.
- Is Hexa Merge free to play?
- Yes. It runs free in your browser on desktop or mobile — no login, no download.
