When does the Daily Word change?

Every day at midnight in your own time zone. Everyone on the same calendar date gets the same puzzle number and word.

Can I play more than once a day?

No — there's one puzzle per day. Your guesses and result are saved in your browser, so refreshing the page won't reset it.

How do repeated letters work?

Each letter in the answer can only color one tile. If you guess a letter twice but the word has it once, only one tile turns green or yellow — the exact-position match wins — and the other turns gray.

Where are my stats stored?

In your browser's local storage, with no account needed. Clearing site data or switching devices starts your streak over.
