About this quiz

Introversion and extroversion are about where your energy comes from, not how confident or friendly you are. Introverts recharge on their own and can find busy social time draining, even when they enjoy it. Extroverts recharge around people and can feel flat after too long alone. Most people sit somewhere in between, which is often called being an ambivert.

This quiz asks 14 questions about ordinary moments: a stranger chatting in a queue, a free afternoon, a buzzing group chat, the Monday after a busy weekend. Your answers place you on the spectrum as a percentage, so you can see whether you lean slightly or strongly one way. You'll also get strengths, blind spots and practical tips for your result. It takes about four minutes, with no signup, and your answers stay in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between an introvert and an extrovert?
It's mostly about energy. Introverts tend to recharge alone and prefer depth over breadth in social life. Extroverts tend to recharge with people and enjoy lots of interaction. Neither is better, and shyness is a separate thing.
What is an ambivert?
An ambivert sits near the middle of the spectrum and can feel energized by people or by solitude, depending on the situation. In this quiz, a score roughly between 25% and 75% on the spectrum gives an Ambivert result.
How long does the quiz take?
Fourteen questions, usually about four minutes. Every question is an everyday scenario, so there's no need to rate yourself on abstract scales.
Is this a scientific test?
No. It's for entertainment and self-reflection, not a clinical or professional assessment. Use the result as a prompt to notice what drains and recharges you.
Do you store my answers?
No. Your answers stay in your browser tab, and there's no signup or email. Only your final percentage appears in the result link, and only if you choose to share it.
