Block Drop

Block Drop is a classic falling blocks puzzle. Seven piece shapes drop onto a 10×20 board; move and rotate them so they lock into complete rows, and full rows clear. Every 10 lines you level up and the pieces fall faster. A ghost piece shows where the current piece will land, and you can hold a piece to use later. Your best score is saved in your browser. Free, with no login or download.

1. Move the falling piece left and right, and rotate it to fit.
2. Soft drop to speed it down, or hard drop to place it instantly.
3. Fill a whole row to clear it. Clearing several rows at once scores more.
4. Hold a piece to swap it out and save it for later.
5. The game ends when new pieces can no longer enter the board.

How does scoring work?

Clearing 1, 2, 3 or 4 rows at once scores 100, 300, 500 or 800 points, multiplied by your current level.

What are the keyboard controls?

Arrow keys move and soft drop, Up or X rotates, Space hard drops, and C or Shift holds. On-screen buttons work too.
