How to play Dungeon Solitaire

Dungeon Solitaire uses standard Klondike rules with one card drawn at a time: build the seven columns down in alternating colours, move only Kings into empty columns, and bank each suit from Ace to King on its foundation. Bank all 52 cards and you escape the dungeon. Your health is the twist.

  1. Face-down cards are closed doors. Tap one to open it when you're ready — nothing flips on its own.
  2. A black card behind a door is a monster with HP equal to its value. Your weapon blocks that much; the rest hits you.
  3. A heart behind a door is a potion that heals you. Banking a heart on its foundation heals you again.
  4. A diamond behind a door is treasure. Your weapon power is the highest diamond you've banked, so building diamonds first makes later doors safer.
  5. Banking a black card slays that monster for glory. Looping the draw pile costs HP, and there's no undo.

Dungeon Solitaire FAQ

Is there a new dungeon every day?
Yes. The Daily Dungeon changes at midnight in your own time zone, and everyone on the same date gets the same deal and the same omen. You get one attempt, and clearing it grows your daily streak.
What are omens?
Each dungeon rolls one omen that bends the rules, such as monsters hitting harder, potions healing more, a stronger starting weapon or extra starting HP. The omen is shown above the table.
Can I keep playing after the daily run?
Yes. Practice dungeons are unlimited random deals. They don't affect your daily streak, but they count toward your high scores.
How is my score calculated?
Slaying a monster earns 10 glory per point of its value, banking a red card earns 5, and treasure found behind doors earns gold. Escaping adds 500 plus 20 for every HP you have left.
Where are my streaks and high scores saved?
In your browser's local storage, with no account needed. Your current run is saved too, so a refresh picks up where you left off. Clearing site data or switching devices starts over.
